Am I able to back up data from one organization domain and restore it to another?

Am I able to back up data from one Datto SaaS Protection organization domain and restore it to another organization domain?

Environment

Datto SaaS Protection for Google Workspace
Datto SaaS Protection for M365

Answer

Datto SaaS Protection is not a data migration tool and cannot restore data from one organization domain to another organization domain. For example, it would not be possible to back-up an M365 tenant and migrate it to a new Google Workspace domain or M365 tenant, or vice-versa.

Google Workspace domains will only be able to restore to the same Google Workspace domain.
M365 tenants will only be able to restore to the same M365 tenant.
