Version 8.2 user interface changes

The version 8.2 release for Datto SaaS Protection features a reorganized navigation bar in the user interface for faster, more intuitive navigation.

Environment

• Datto SaaS Protection for Google Workspace
• Datto SaaS Protection for M365

Description

The redesigned user interface better describes navigation elements and organizes them into logical categories.

You can navigate through the user interface by using the following tabs:

Service type (M365 or Google Workspace)

This tab will show as Google Workspace or M365, depending on the product suite you are protecting. Click this tab to cycle between modern 2.0 and classic views.

Status

The Status tab returns you to the main status page from any page within the user interface.

Recovery

Use this tab to select the service for which you wish to restore or export data. You can choose from the following services:

• Google Workspace
  • Drive
  • Shared Drive
  • Mail
  • Calendar
  • Contacts
• M365
  • OneDrive
  • Exchange
  • SharePoint
  • Teams

Seat Management

The Seat Management tab lets you control seating and licensing settings for the following categories:

• Google Workspace
  • Users
• M365
  • Users
  • Mailboxes
  • Sites
  • Teams

Admin

Use this tab to control the following administrative functions:

• Manage Administrators
• Reporting
• Settings

User

This tab lets you control:

• User settings
• Login/Logout
