Reauthorizing with the M365 global administrator

This article walks through reauthorizing Datto SaaS Protection for M365. This procedure requires M365 global administrator privileges.

Environment

  • Datto SaaS Protection for M365
  • M365 Admin portal

Description

This process could adversely impact your backups if not completed properly and should only be used when directed by Datto SaaS Protection support.

To reauthorize Datto SaaS Protection for M365:

1. Log in to the M365 admin portal using the global administrator and select Azure Active Directory.

2. Select Enterprise applications→All applications→ Backupify.

3. Select Properties → Delete.

4. Log in to Datto SaaS Protection as any admin.

5. Navigate to Seat Management→Sites.

6. Click Refresh.

7. A Re-Authorization Needed prompt will appear. Review and click Begin when you have Global Administrator credentials for the M365 tenant.
