What does "ingesting services" mean, and how long will it take to complete?

• Backupify for M365

Answer

If services are actively completing their first backup, Ingesting Services will appear in the Backups > Last Date Fully Protected Backups section of the Status page.

Ingest times vary and depend on the size of the protected environment and whether or nor factors such as Microsoft or Google throttling or API rate limiting are in effect for your environment.
